Wefts are most commonly used on African-Caribbean hair and look good in thick curly Caucasian and Asian natural hair.

Application Time: 4 hours or more depending on length & style.
Lasts: 4-8 weeks.
Pros: No glues or adhesives. Great option for curly or thick hair, rest your natural hair.
Cons: Can be bulky at the root, heavy for delicate hair, as braids loosen wefts can become visible.

Options: A net can be used over the braided hair to hide the scalp as the braids loosen and results in less pulling and fuller, even distribution of the hair.
Removal: Thread is cut easily releasing the weft from the cornrow braid, 25 to 20 minute process.

HOT BONDING: Small pieces of hand tied hair or wefted hair is applied near the root of your natural hair with a hot adhesive. This method is most suitable for use on Caucasian, Asian or Oriental hair types.
Application Time: 2-4 hours or more depending on length & style.
Lasts: 1-4 weeks
Pros: If using hand tied hair, a variety of hair colors can be mixed for an exact match, Looks authentic and free-flowing, as bonded glue area is the size of a grain of rice.
Cons: Adverse reactions to the glue can occur, Some bonds can leave tiny knits in the natural hair at the root area and these can be difficult to comb out. Breakage is a strong possibility if applied to African – Caribbean hair. Not recommended for daily swimming or if you shampoo more than 2 times per week.

COLD FUSION: A Bonding glue or adhesive material is brushed onto the weft of the extension hair and then it is applied to the root of the individual’s hair. - is widely used in African-Caribbean hair types
Application Time: 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on length & style.
Lasts: 1 to 3 months
Pros: No heat, eliminating risk of burns, quick to apply, can be used on all hair types
Cons: Allergic reactions to glue, glue can be messy to work with

BRAIDING: Hand tied human hair or hair cut off the weft is braided into your natural hair either leaving the ends out to extend length or braiding all the way to the ends. Can be used on all hair types but is most suitable on African-Caribbean, thick Caucasian, Asian and other Oriental hair types.
Application Time: 4 or more hours depending on style and length
Lasts: 1 to 3 months
Pros: Great for swimming and daily exercise, if braided to the ends little styling is required. Great for adding highlights
Cons: Lengthy application and removal times, Caucasian, Asian and oriental hair textures tend to slide down the hair shaft. Some braiders braid tightly causing discomfort for up to 2 days. Scalp may itch after a couple weeks

CLIPS: Extension hair is clipped directly to hair with tiny hair clips pre-attached to the hair piece. This is an easy do-it-yourself solution for hair extensions.
Application Time: 5 to 15 minutes
Lasts: at least 3 months with proper care and storage
Pros: Easy, low maintenance, affordable, unlimited styling options, Great introduction to hair extensions, can easily take then in and out.

QUICK WEAVE: A full head weave with a quick application. First the hair is wrapped and a wig cap is placed on the head or the hair is slicked back with a gel that is dried hard under the dryer. Then the weave is glued on completely covering your natural hair.
Application Time: 30 minutes
Lasts: One month
Pros: Fast & affordable, gives your natural hair a break.
Cons: Must be done by a professional or can damage the hair. You cannot access your scalp easily and sometimes can look similar to a wig.

REMY VIRGIN HAIR: is a brand of high quality hair. This hair is beautiful and clean, for weaving and braiding. This hair can be bleached to medium brown, dyed or permed and chemical free. Will not tangle through 100 shampoos. Virgin hair has never been treated by any chemical process. Functions as your own natural human hair would.

STRAIGHT/ WAVY: is Indian hair with a straight texture. Becomes wavy after washing, but can be re-straightened again and can be colored. Availble in natural black and brown tones.

CURLY / WAVY: is Virgin Indian hair with a curly texture. Becomes wavy after washing, but can be re-curled again and can be colored. Availble in natural black and brown tones.

BULK HAIR : loose hair for braiding; not in a weft.

PATTERNED HAIR: is a premium Remy Indian Hair that gets its pattern from a chemical, acid free process. Maintains it pattern after washing, but can still be flat ironed, curled, or colored. MACHINE WEFT: a strip of hair that looks like a crutain or a sheet of hair that is sewn on a track or band by a machine.

PREMIUM WEFT: is thinner than a machine weft, yet strong and secure. Premium wefts have no short hair below the sewing line.

How much hair do I need?

If you want to leave sections of your natural hair out, then a partial weave or extension is right for use, usually requiring 4 ounces. For a full head weave, covering all of your hair use 6-10 ounces.

Can I color the hair?

You may cut, color, highligh, style and use heat on all our human hair, just as you would your own natural hair.
